Terms of Service

Effective date: March 1, 2025

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using DMV GovCon Intelligence ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.

2. Description of service

DMV GovCon Intelligence provides an AI-powered intelligence platform that aggregates, enriches, and presents government contracting opportunities from public sources in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia region. We also provide matching, pipeline tracking, teaming, and market intelligence tools to help small businesses compete for government contracts.

3. Account registration

You must:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
  • Keep your login credentials confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
  • Be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscriptions and billing

  • New accounts receive a 30-day early access period with full feature access
  • After the early access period, continued access requires a paid subscription
  • Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and auto-renew
  • You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period
  • We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to active subscribers

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute our data or opportunity listings at scale
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform
  • Share your account credentials with others or resell access
  • Upload malicious code or interfere with the platform's operation

6. Data accuracy

Opportunity data is aggregated from public government sources and enriched using AI. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all information is current, complete, or error-free. Always verify critical details — including deadlines, requirements, and submission instructions — directly with the issuing agency before submitting a bid.

DMV GovCon Intelligence is an intelligence and discovery tool, not a legal or procurement advisor. Nothing on the platform constitutes legal or bid advice.

7. Intellectual property

The platform, its design, software, and proprietary data models are owned by DMV GovCon Intelligence and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you provide (company profile, uploaded documents). By providing content, you grant us a license to use it to provide the Service.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DMV GOVCON INTELLIGENCE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR MISSED CONTRACT OPPORTUNITIES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or at our discretion with reasonable notice. You may cancel your account at any time through your profile settings. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends immediately.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Washington, DC.

12. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify active users by email of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
